Settings Section Documentation

The Settings section of the Sealo Mobile App, accessible from the Profile, allows users to manage various aspects of their account, ensuring a personalized and secure experience.

Features

  • Account Details:

    • View and edit the User Account's Username.
    • Access blockchain references related to the account.
    • Change the 6-digit PIN used to authorize actions.
    • Delete the User Account if needed.

  • Privacy and Security:

    • View Sealo’s privacy policy.
    • Read and accept Sealo’s terms and conditions.
    • Manage the Seed Phrase, including backing it up manually or to the cloud.
    • Enable or disable biometric data (fingerprint or face recognition) as an alternative to the PIN.

  • Notifications:

    • Enable or disable notifications for different types of alerts.
    • Block notifications from specific Creators.

  • Contact Information:

    • View and manage Sealo’s contact list, including support contact details.

  • Logout:

    • Securely log out from the User Account.

How to Use

  1. Viewing and Editing Account Details:

    • Open the Sealo Mobile App.
    • Navigate to the Profile section and tap on Settings.
    • In the Settings menu, select Account Details.
    • Edit your Username, view blockchain references, change your PIN, or delete your account.

  2. Managing Privacy and Security:

    • In the Settings menu, select Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions to view the documents.
    • Select Seed Phrase to view and back up your Seed Phrase.
    • Choose Biometric Data to enable or disable fingerprint or face recognition.

  3. Managing Notifications:

    • In the Settings menu, select Notifications.
    • Enable or disable notifications as desired.
    • Block notifications from specific Creators if necessary.

  4. Accessing Contact Information:

    • In the Settings menu, select Contact Information to view Sealo’s support contact details.

  5. Logging Out:

    • In the Settings menu, scroll to the bottom and select Logout.
    • Confirm the action to securely log out from your User Account.

User Tips

  • Regularly Update Security Settings: Keep your PIN and biometric data settings up to date for enhanced security.
  • Backup Seed Phrase: Ensure your Seed Phrase is backed up to the cloud for easy recovery of your account.
  • Customize Notifications: Tailor notification settings to receive only the alerts that are most relevant to you.
  • Review Privacy Policies: Familiarize yourself with Sealo’s privacy policy and terms and conditions to understand your rights and obligations.
